iPop L.A. – Starling Productions

I was able to go operate again for the iPop Convention with Starling Productions, but this time it was in Los Angeles. The hotel where it all went down was great, and it was fun like always. We road tripped out with all of our equipment, including an entire edit suite, which we used to convert a hotel room into such. The pic is the other 2 operators that were there during the week.

Last night we wrapped shooting the ip op convention. The splash reel of the first 3 days turned out exactly how they wanted! One thing I decided to throw in the mix was an array of various time lapses to show the effort and magnitude of the event. Good stuff.

For the last few days I’ve been heavily involved in covering the ipop (International Presentation of Performers) Convention alongside Starling Productions. It’s been fun so far to see this huge group of actors, models, dancers, and singers not only perfect their craft, but gain some exposure in the process.
