We missed out on some December blogging, so here is our breakdown. We received a call from 4th Row Films to get some pickup shots for a documentary that is near completion about Poker. It was at the Epic Poker League event at the Palms and was a good time, since we enjoy poker anyways. Threw down some innterviews and got some beauty shots.
A big portion of our month was involved in getting together some proposal info for upcoming projects and working toward some other goals for 2012. Some of that we’ll throw out soon enough, once it’s all up and running.
To keep the ball rolling on the Lucky Enough project, I took a trip to Copper Mountain to cover the behind the scenes of the Revolution Tour snowboard competition. There’s more info on that at Lucky Enough Documentary.
Ending the month off we drove to St. George, UT to get some coverage for some semi-finalist in a competition put in by Jif Peanut Butter. Here’s a little BTS shot from that.
I got a call to shoot behind the scenes for the UFC this last week, which is right up our alley, since we watch the fights most of the time anyways. It was fun to be able to see exactly what fighters go through leading up to the fight, as well as the nerves that they experience. Being there in person you get to feel and see things that you can’t feel or get from watching behind the scenes. It was a good time and here’s one of the videos (I shot BJ’s half).
We have spent the past couple of days documenting the Call Center Campus event for BenchmarkPortal. Along with bringing some nice HD quality into their company, we also shot some good interviews and testimonials that will be posted soon. Maybe we’ll even play some craps today after the shoot!
Kaizen (改善?), Japanese for “improvement”, or “change for the better”… Check out this link for a proper definition Kaizen Defined. Recently, we’ve been working on some goodnes for Kaizen Crossfit (Summerlin). The video is looking great and will be up soon enough. Until then here is a still as a teaser.
The young entrepreneur was back with a thunder. He still is getting down on the 10kdvd.com, but has even more to offer now. We spent a few days getting some amazing footage of his lifestyle and a new project he has in the works. It was a good time, and it’ll all be out there soon enough for anyone looking to make that dollar.
We haven’t thrown down on here in a few month for a couple of different reasons. First off, the kickstarter didn’t hit, but it did generate a lot of positive response and exposure. It actually kicked some other things into place and got some things going. Second, it has been down time between Northern and Southern hemisphere seasons, so everyone just needed a break. To keep up with our progress be sure to check out
